You have made the momentous decision to get married, and have a wedding ceremony. That decision is as special as you are. Your thoughts and ideas for your wedding are also something special that you wish to be unique, memorable and all about you and those that you love.

My aim is to create with you a memorable ceremony and for your day to be exactly as you want it to be, and however you want it to be - whether this be traditional or quirky. There is an amazing beauty in having a celebrant-led wedding in that there are really no ‘rules’ except those that you make. The celebrations will only include the elements that you choose - these could be traditional and romantic, or wacky and theme based - it’s all up to you.
If I am your choice of celebrant, we will spend plenty of time together sharing your stories so that I can write, prepare and deliver the perfect ceremony for you.
Whether it’s a wedding, vow renewal or celebration of life, a celebrant-led event means a completely personalised experience for you and a memorable, more enjoyable event for your guests. It means we can involve loved ones, symbolic rituals, and anything you can think of if it makes you happy and represents your love.
Many couples even choose to add symbolic rituals that vary from hand-fasting, candle lighting or sand ceremonies to unusual cocktail blending or music mixing. From writing and telling your love story to helping you write the promises /vows you will exchange, I can also weave in a ritual such as hand-fasting. You may want something unique and personal, I can create a bespoke ritual for you.
The Legal Bit.
In the UK, a Celebrant is not licensed to conduct the legalities of marriage. You will need to arrange the legal formalities with your local Registrar. Many couples do this as a quick ‘in-and-out’ appointment the day before their celebrant-led wedding. For more information: https://www.gov.uk/marriages-civil-partnerships

Vow Renewals.
Couples choose to renew their vows for many different reasons. It may be a special anniversary, a fresh start or a new family, but what could be more meaningful than choosing to commit again? The ceremony may be a small or large affair, but will represent your years together and the new ones ahead. Like a wedding, we will meet well ahead of the big day to plan, write and organise a beautiful celebration.
